Urgent Care is a medical clinic providing rapid prompt treatment of non-life-threatening acute injuries and minor illnesses for patients of all ages on a walk-in basis.
When should I go to North Atlanta Urgent Care?
• When your illness is too urgent to wait.
• When your primary doctor's office is closed.

What type of medical provider will see me?
Patients are seen by our experienced Board Certified Emergency Physicians.
North Atlanta Urgent Care does not use physician's assistants or nurse practitioners.
How long will I have to wait?
Patients are seen on a first come first served basis. Most patients will have a total time (from the time they enter the clinic until they are discharged) of less than
30 minutes. While every attempt will be made to see you as quickly as possible,
wait times will vary, based on the number of patients in the clinic and the seriousness of your condition.

What forms of insurance do you accept?
We accept most medical insurance plans, including – Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coventry, Medicare, PHCS/MultiPlan, United Healthcare, Cigna, Beech Street, Tricare, Golden Rule, Kaiser Permanente, Pearce Administration and many others. Most insurance policies provide “out-of-network” benefits, particularly for Urgent Care Clinics. We are continually working to add more insurance companies to meet your needs. How much will my visit cost?
Your insurance co-payment is significantly less than a visit to the emergency room. Check your insurance card or call your insurance company to find out what your co-payment is. For example: Urgent Care insurance co-pays are usually $30 - $60, while emergency room co-pays range from $100 - $150. Also, the average total cost of an urgent care visit is significantly less than an emergency room visit.
Emergency room treatment typically costs 4 to 10 times as much as an urgent care visit for the same treatment.
How can I pay for my visit?
To keep costs low for you, our valued patients, full payment or insurance co-payment is required at the time of your visit. North Atlanta Urgent Care accepts cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.
When should I go to the Emergency Room?
Our Urgent Care facility is not equipped like a hospital emergency department (ED). Therefore, patients with a major medical emergency or a health problem that is life or limb threatening should call 911 or go directly to your closest Emergency Room. Does North Atlanta Urgent Care give medical advice or diagnosis thru email
contact or over the telephone?
Our Liability Insurance does not allow us to give medical advice or diagnosis via email reply or over the telephone. However, do not be surprised if we call you after your visit to see how you are feeling.
Do you have a Worker's Comp Program?
Yes, and it includes the following: Accommodation of employer protocols; Detailed report e-mailed to employer; Treatment of most work-related injuries; Pre-employment physical examinations; Physicals; Drug and alcohol testing; Return to work evaluations; Many prescriptions filled on-site, others sent to worker’s comp pharmacy of your choice; Independent medical evaluations; Follow-up visits; Prompt referrals. Some services can be provided at your facility such as flu shots, physicals, and drug screening.
Do you have special programs for schools and other community organizations?
